The interactive Rapid Response Dashboards are on-demand and flexible tools that allow a policymaker to explore the evidence in real-time, compare patterns, and generate context-specific insights on a simple and user-friendly interface. The Interactive Rapid Response Dashboards inform a dynamic and fast-moving decision process. The evidence is synthesised and shared in real-time to inform ongoing discussions. ACRES has conducted three pilots with the National Renewable Energy Platform stakeholders in Uganda. Examples include: One, evidence on the distribution of solar infrastructure in Ugandan health facilities, which was used to inform a program and policy to rehabilitate solar infrastructure in health facilities. The second explores energy use in refugee and host community settlements, where households rely heavily on biomass and low-quality lighting. The third investigated the link between regenerative agriculture and the productive use of renewable energy, shedding light on opportunities for food security and sustainable growth. The dashboards demonstrated how technology can transform data into clear, actionable evidence for policy and practice.
