EIDM Mentoring Programme

The objective of the AEYL EIDM mentoring programme is to provide in-depth and tailored EIDM capacity-sharing opportunities for AEYL members. The AEYL mentoring, therefore, aimed to provide a mechanism through which AEYL members can enhance their capacity to support the use of evidence in the education sector in Africa. At the heart of the mentoring programme are two types of mentoring relationships for emerging education evidence leaders. First, AEYL members, as the mentees, had the opportunity to opt-in for individual mentoring relationships with education leaders and/or EIDM leaders. Second, leaders also had the opportunity to opt-in to either individual or group mentoring relationships with their peers (i.e., fellow members of the AEYL).

Only together can evidence-informed decision-making become a reality.
