Dates: 08 to 10 December 2026
Location: Krakow, Poland
Organised by The Cochrane Collaboration
The global Cochrane community and all those interested in evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM) are warmly invited to save the date and join this flagship annual event in Kraków.
The Cochrane Colloquium brings together people from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, and engage in dialogue on the most pressing questions related to evidence generation, synthesis, and use across health and beyond. It is a unique forum for collaboration across disciplines, regions, and perspectives.
As the world of evidence continues to evolve rapidly, the 2026 Colloquium will provide space to reflect, connect, and collectively explore how evidence can best respond to emerging challenges and opportunities while remaining rigorous, transparent, inclusive, and trusted.
The meeting will convene a diverse international community to foster conversations on how to strengthen evidence ecosystems and ensure that high-quality evidence continues to inform decisions that matter, now and in the future.
The Colloquium will offer a unique opportunity to showcase Cochrane’s transformation and engage in a forward‑looking discussion on the future of evidence. Together, we can advance the development of a world grounded in trustworthy scientific evidence, supported by new methods and technologies.
This year’s Colloquium will take place in Krakow, a city renowned for its academic tradition and home to one of Europe’s oldest universities – the Jagiellonian University Medical College, which hosts Cochrane Poland. The event will be held at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, located in the heart of the city and overlooking Wawel Castle and the Vistula River. The venue offers a distinctive setting at the crossroads of history, culture, and modern infrastructure.
The organisers look forward to welcoming you to Krakow in December 2026!
