Digital technologies such as AI are transforming how evidence is being produced with the collation and synthesis of evidence for decision-making becoming radically more rapid and tailored. Decision-makers are now enjoying instant access to a range of digital tools promising answers and insights to policy questions. Where does such a rapidly changing landscape leave evidence brokers?
On 12 June 2025, the Center for Rapid Evidence Synthesis (ACRES) and the Pan-African Collective for Evidence (PACE) hosted an interactive session showcasing a series of digital tools developed for evidence brokers and intermediaries to strengthen evidence-informed decision-making in Africa. In this webinar, the team from ACRES and PACE demonstrated their digital evidence brokering tools highlighting how AI and digital innovation are being used to support the process of evidence brokerage and translation. The session also included reflections on the broader role of digital technologies within the broader evidence ecosystem.
