In addition to our newsletter, this month our colleagues the research team from the Department for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) in South Africa, in partnership with UJ-BCURE, is happy to share with you an attached Guidance Note titled: “Policy Relevant Evidence Maps – a Departmental Guidance Note”.
This is the product of a nine-month pilot project of co-producing an evidence map on housing, human settlements and the built environment. It seeks to capture the process of transformation from a research synthesis methodology into a decision-making tool for the public sector. It also contains detailed reflections and insights gained from developing and using the tool for decision-making and policy influence.
