In this month’s newsletter, we put the spotlight on the first West Africa Evidence to Action Conference focussing on agriculture and food security in Ghana. Also, we feature the Results for All new Global Landscape Review that aims to understand the different approaches governments are taking to create formal strategies and mechanism to promote the use of data and evidence in government policy and practice. Our latest blog features Dr Tamara Kredo from the South African Medical Research Council and Cochrane South Africa. She shares her top five reasons why you should not miss the 2017 Global Evidence Summit (GES) in Cape Town, South Africa.
In addition, the AEN in partnership with 3ie will be hosting a free satellite event at GES on Tuesday, 12 September 2017 at the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction in Cape Town. Also, we will have an exhibiting stand and the whole Africa Centre for Evidence team will be participating at the Global Evidence Summit. We look forward to meeting AEN members attending the summit.
