The Africa Evidence Youth League is gearing up for a year of exciting activities
The Africa Evidence Youth League (AEYL) is gearing up for an exciting year of learning, connection and collaboration, creating new opportunities for young evidence leaders across Africa to grow, share and lead.
Through monthly virtual meetings, members will connect across countries and sectors, exchange experiences and learn from one another. The AEYL mentorship programme will pair members with experienced researchers, policymakers, knowledge brokers and evidence practitioners from Africa and beyond.
Members will also have opportunities to build their skills, publish and share their work, through workshops, masterclasses, practical clinics and support to develop blogs, policy briefs, research summaries and multimedia content.
AEYL members will be connected to the wider Africa Evidence Network, participating in conferences, webinars, learning events and communities of practice. They will also have opportunities to contribute to collaborative research addressing development challenges across Africa.
Finally, AEYL will launch a multimedia series featuring podcasts, interviews, member spotlights, blogs and videos, showcasing the voices and contributions of young people advancing evidence-informed decision-making.
