On this powerful day, South Africa’s Women’s Day, we are proud to officially launch the Living Evidence Map on the National Strategic Plan on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (NSP on GBVF).
Developed by the Pan-African Collective for Evidence (PACE) in collaboration with the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME), this tool is a bold step forward in the fight against #GBVF.
The living evidence map is a dynamic, user-friendly platform designed to centralise, organise, and connect the best available evidence on GBVF to the people who need it most, policymakers, implementers, and advocates.
Launched on Women’s Day, it stands as a tribute to the resilience, leadership, and power of those in the frontlines and a call for real, evidence-informed change—now.
Watch as project lead Andile Madonsela explains how the evidence map was conceptualised and developed.
